So, the leaves outside my window teach me everything I ever need to know. All the seasons change, and those summer days do quickly turn to snow. We're all born up on these branches that our fathers' hands have planted; grow up beautiful and strong, but see it doesn't last too long, so we dream of higher places to alleviate and brace us for the Fall.

But I don't need it, you can keep your golden pavement. I have seen my true reflection in this world of imperfections. I don't need it, you can keep your pearly gates 'cause when I go I plan to go back where I started -- plant my body in the garden where the flowers grow. Yes, I know I don't need new destinations, I am happy with this place that I call home.

All the ones who came before us have been shed to make room for us, they've all moved into the dusk and now the world, she moves with us. Every passing generation is the fade that takes us to the morning sun. So I'm not wasting all my money throwing pennies into wells and I'm not acting on the basis that I make it somewhere else. No, I'm not living in that fear no more.
